Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,
We are very excited to launch this 30 days of prayer and fasting 2009 for our Church. Dr. Bill Bright, founder of Campus Crusade has written a
booklet on "Fasting and Prayer" which I like to share it with you below (I would encourage you to go online to get the whole booklet):

Fasting and prayer can also work on a much grander scale. According to Scripture, personal experience and observation, I am convinced that when God's people fast with a proper Biblical motive - seeking God's face not is hand-with a broken, repentant, and contrite spirit, God will hear from heaven and heal our lives, our churches, our communities, our nation and world. With this "30 Days of Prayer and Fasting Calendar Guide", we encourage you to pray each day as follows:

1. Read aloud and meditate on the Scripture reference for that day

2. Pray as the Spirit leads. Stop, listen and wait for impressions from the Spirit

3. Record the impressions in your journal and do whatever the Spirit
tells you.
